  • Thanks for participating, everybody! Due to the nature of having to draw contest prizes and all that, I can't say for sure when I'll get to these digitally, but I'm going to try and do a number of them traditionally, since I have a bit more time for that now. As stated below, I don't know how many I'll do, but certainly not all of them. I've got my eye on a few, certainly. :>

UPDATE [September 17th, 2016]: 

  • This will be closed tonight at 12 AM, as it makes no sense to try and advertise tomorrow where someone would only have a few hours left to draw their entry. After tonight, I will not open requests again until Summer 2017. If you'd like a chance at free artwork from me this year, take advantage of the opportunity while you can. :3

So after almost a year of not doing requests in this way, I thought why not use it for what seems like a good purpose. Keep in mind the rules, and the fact that you do have to share something about the VolenoContest on your page in a journal/poll/status update in order to participate. You can share this journal too, but you still have to share the VolenoContest journal or else you will not be considered for the request.

  • Leave your original characters in the comments using the form at the end of the journal.

    • Don't ask me if you can request something...that's the whole point of this.

  • You must provide clear reference images. Would rather not work from only descriptions.
  • You must be a watcher. New watchers are accepted.
  • This is not first come first serve and I will only be picking 1 or 2 requests.
  • I will not comment generally unless I want to work on your request. In some cases, I may ask for clarification, but not necessarily because I want to work on your request.
  • I will highlight comments that followed the rules correctly, but I will not comment reminding you to check the rules if you have not submitted properly.
  • These requests will be fully shaded and colored sketches. 

    • The more specific your pose is, the more likely you'll be chosen.

I know it probably seems crazy to open up requests at this point, especially when needing money, but in a way, you could say I'm doing it just to see who shows up. I'm certainly not at a loss for things to draw and it's not likely that I'll pick more than 1 or 2 of these, but more than anything, I want to spread word of the contest and potentially give back to some people who don't have the money to fling around at me.

This is rare and will continue to be rare, as again, I do need money....but I hope you enjoy it. :3
